LimitEar
LimitEar Limited is an innovative specialist technology company focused on protecting earpiece users from high levels of sound that can induce hearing loss.
LimitEar technology (patent pending) sets new standards in hearing protection by ensuring that professional earpiece users are always protected from excessive noise, which means they can always use their communications devices safely.
AdaptEar
The AdaptEar is a small unit hat connects between private mobile radios and sensitive earpieces. It helps the user to protect their hearing, providing the appropriate attenuation for specific earpieces and the intended listening duration. Excessive signal levels cause the limit light of AdaptEar to flash, informing the user to turn down the volume on the source device. The limit light helps the user test AdaptEar before use.
The auxiliary input allows simultaneous connection of other audio devices such as MP3 players. Optional adapter leads enable fist microphones to be used with most PMRs.
The AdaptEar is self powered, requiring no battery. LimitEar products integrate seamlessly with most earpieces, headphones, earphones or in-ear monitors. Lightweight and slim-line, they adapt easily to a wide variety of professional communications systems.
